We are pleased to welcome you to Prague, Czech Republic, for the 31st Annual RiMS Conference, taking place from Thursday June 11th to Saturday June 13th 2026. This year’s conference will explore a central and timely theme in MS rehabilitation:

Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) increasingly requires explicit choices between strategies aimed at restoring function (recovery) and those optimising performance through adaptation (compensation). Rather than competing approaches, these represent complementary and clinically meaningful options, whose relative value depends on the goals of the person with MS, disease stage, functional reserve, context, and available technologies.

The 2026 programme will connect biological mechanisms (such as neuroplasticity and reserve) to intervention design, precision decision-making, and outcomes that matter to people with MS—especially participation, autonomy, and quality of life. By integrating multidisciplinary perspectives—medicine, therapy professions, psychology and neuropsychology, engineering, and outcomes research—the Conference aims to advance implementable, evidence-based rehabilitation pathways aligned with European priorities on digital health, real-world outcomes, and personalised care.
