The RIMS Fellowship Exchange Programme supports early career professionals in advancing their expertise in MS rehabilitation through short-term training visits to leading RIMS Member Centres. Each year, up to six fellows are awareded €1500 to support an exchange aimed at fostering multidisciplinary learning and cross-centre collaboration.

Jip Aarts (Leiden University, The Netherlands)

Jip is a PhD candidate researching personalised lifestyle interventions for people with multiple sclerosis. Through the RiMS Fellowship, Jip will visit Aarhus University in November 2026 to exchange knowledge with researchers specialising in exercise interventions for people with MS.

The visit will support Jip’s research through expert feedback, observation of ongoing projects and multidisciplinary exchange, while also creating opportunities for future international collaboration.

Charlotte Carinne Rouzée (Leiden University, The Netherlands)

Charlotte is a PhD candidate in the Health, Medical & Neuropsychology department at Leiden University. She will visit Reha Rheinfelden in November 2026 as part of the international multicentre study Prepare the Mind.

During the visit, Charlotte will work with the local research team on cognitive rehabilitation, neuropsychological assessments and study procedures, helping strengthen consistency across participating research centres while further developing her expertise in personalised cognitive rehabilitation for people with MS.
