The RiMS Executive Board is seeking to recruit one new Executive Board Member to complement the skills and expertise of the current Board.

All RiMS Executive Board members have specific roles and responsibilities, and we wish to recruit someone to join the Board as our “industry liaison officer”. We would, therefore, welcome applications from MS researchers or clinicians in Europe who have experience of working with pharmaceutical and/or medical devices/digital technology industries.

🗓️ Timeline

• Application deadline: Saturday, 31 October 2026, 23:59 CET
• Selection decision: The RiMS Executive Board will complete the selection process by the end of November 2026 latest, after which the selected candidate will join the Board.  Candidate’s nomination will be formally approved at the RiMS General Assembly in June 2027.
• Start of mandate: November 2026

🤝 Commitment

As an Executive Board Member, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership by contributing to the vision, priorities, and long-term direction of RiMS
• Support governance and decision-making, including participation in approximately three Executive Board meetings per year.
• Contribute to RiMS activities and initiatives, in particular to RiMS relationship with its industry partners (pharmaceutical, medical device, technology) and the organisation of the RiMS Industry Council. We expect you to take an active role in identifying industry partners, and leading discussions regarding collaboration and funding for RiMS activities with these partners.
• Attend the annual RiMS conference
• Represent RiMS externally with partners, stakeholders, and at scientific or policy-related events
