General Information

RIMS is a network for all professionals working in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS). We are proud that RIMS is a powerful, international, and multi-disciplinary network of rehabilitation centers, healthcare practitioners, and researchers. Together, we are the European reference group that advocates for all people with MS throughout Europe to have access to evidence-based rehabilitation when they need it.

We encourage all MS Centers, MS Societies, and individual professionals (both healthcare professionals and researchers) to join the network.

Membership Types

When you join RIMS, you can choose from three Annual Membership options:

  • Center Membership – Up to 6 people from the same center can enjoy the benefits of RIMS membership under this plan.
  • Individual Membership – Perfect for professionals looking to access RIMS resources and networking opportunities.
  • Student Membership – A budget-friendly option designed to help students gain valuable benefits at a reduced fee.

Membership Benefits: What's in it for you?

Becoming a member of RIMS opens the door to several opportunities to enhance your research and clinical practice. Here are some of the benefits of becoming a member of RIMS:

  • Annual Conference and Workshop at a reduced registration fee
Individual members as well as a maximum of six professionals from a member centre can get RIMS Annual Conference and a RIMS workshop registration fees at a special reduced member’s price.

  • Join a Special Interest Group (with additional seminars and programmes)
RIMS has six Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These Groups meet at least once a year during the RIMS Annual Conference. Each SIG also organises an additional SIG meeting annually, which is supported financially by RIMS. This financial support allows to offer discounts to the participants to these SIG meetings.
  • Eligibility to apply for the RIMS Grant Programme
RIMS offers a Grant Programme to support multi-centre studies, a shared best practice network or a SIG project. RIMS supports one grant annually. This is a great opportunity to develop or expand your networks across Europe.
  • Take advantage of the Fellowship Exchange Programme
RIMS offers a Fellowship Exchange Programme to Early Career professionals from Europe, preferably non-medical doctors, to facilitate their training in MS reha¬bilitation at RIMS member centres. The aim of the programme is to promote a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation in MS, and to encourage the exchange of information and professional growth for those working in the field of MS.
  • Get access to Members only e-Educational Material on the RIMS website
Online education materials (podcasts, meeting reports, webcasts from conference presentations, and outcome measures) are available on the RIMS website and provide useful information for your research or clinical practice.
