Webinar: The experiences of young people with MS at work
Young people with MS face unique challenges at work, yet their experiences are often overlooked. This webinar shares new research and insights on how to create more inclusive workplaces.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) often affects individuals during their early career stage and formative years, yet little is known because this group is currently underrepresented in research, about the unique challenges faced by young people with MS in employment.
This webinar presents findings from a qualitative study exploring workplace experiences and needs through focus group discussions with young people living with MS in the United Kingdom.
The session will feature three perspectives: an academic overview of current evidence on MS and work, a personal account from the CEO of MS Together, and clinical insights from an experienced MS specialist nurse, now head of nursing at Neurology Academy and trustee with MS Together.
Together, we will uncover what young people want from employers, the barriers they face, and practical steps to create more inclusive workplaces. Join us to learn how research and lived experience can shape better policies and support for the future of work.
