  1. Arianne Gravesteijn

    Arianne Gravesteijn

    Arianne Gravesteijn, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam UMC, department of rehabilitation medicine, with a research focus on exercise physiology and neurodegeneration. She is actively involved in advancing early-career research within the MS rehabilitation field and serves as Chair of the RIMS PhD Board. In this role, she is committed to fostering collaboration, visibility, and scientific development among young researchers in MS rehabilitation.
  2. Felipe Balistieri Santinelli

    Felipe Balistieri Santinelli

    Felipe Balistieri Santinelli (BSc in Sports Science and MSc in Movement Science) is a last-year PhD candidate at Hasselt University, Belgium, in the field of Rehabilitation Sciences. His research focuses on biomechanics and neurorehabilitation, looking into gait biomechanics, walking-related fatigability, and neural activity, especially in populations such as individuals with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Beyond research, as a multiple sclerosis patient, Felipe is also involved in advocating for a better quality of life for people living with this condition.
  3. Gözde Deniz Unal

    Gözde Deniz Unal

    My name is Gözde Deniz Unal and I am a physiotherapist and first year PhD student at the department of neurology of Dokuz Eylul University Izmir Turkey. I combine clinical insight with scientific assessments to advance care for people with MS. I gained experience as a clinical physiotherapist working with people with MS and recently started my PhD because of my interests in understanding different mechanisms underlying cognitive problems and fatigue in people with MS to ultimately treat this and improve life of people living with MS. In 2025 I received a RIMS-travel grant and went to Amsterdam UMC and visited department of rehabilitation medicine to learn about their rehabilitation approach.
  4. Rasmus Christian Jungersen

    Rasmus Christian Jungersen

    My name is Rasmus C. Jungersen, and I am striving towards a better life for people with MS with more exercise, less pain, and an increased quality of life. I am a 1st-year PhD student with a background in exercise physiology, affiliated with the Department of Public Health at Aarhus University, Denmark. In my research, I focus on pain in relation to MS and investigate whether exercise is effective as a non-pharmacological pain-relieving treatment.
